Invisalign® takes a modern approach to straightening teeth, using a custom-made series of aligners created for you and only you. These aligner trays are made of smooth, comfortable and virtually invisible plastic that you wear over your teeth.
What is Invisalign?
Invisalign is a clear alternative to metal braces that straightens your teeth with a series of clear, virtually invisible custom-molded aligners.Wearing the aligners will gradually and gently shift your teeth into place, based on the exact movements Dr. Sadeghi plans out for you. Invisalign is the breakthrough technology that lets you have the smile you’ve always wanted, without the hassle of braces.
Am I a candidate for Invisalign?
If Invisalign is a treatment you are interested in, you can schedule a free consultation with Dr. Sadeghi to discuss and evaluate a treatment plan.
How is Invisalign different than braces?
An average Invisalign course of treatment takes as little as 5 weeks up to 1 year. You will see Dr. Sadeghi every 4 to 8 weeks for adjustments and to check progress. At regular intervals, you will receive a new set of custom-molded clear aligners to continue the straightening process. The total number of clear aligners is specific to you, determined by Dr. Sadeghi for your course of treatment.
There are no metal brackets to attach and no wires to tighten. You just pop in a new set of aligners approximately every two weeks, until your treatment is complete. You’ll achieve a great smile with little interference in your daily life. The best part about the whole process is that most people won’t even know you’re straightening your teeth.
How often do I need to change my Invisalign aligners?
By using a series of clear, removable Invisalign aligners, you will notice the aligners straightening your teeth sooner than you expect. The course of treatment involves changing aligners approximately every 1-2 weeks, moving your teeth into a more aligned position week by week, until you have a more beautiful smile. And unlike traditional braces, these clear aligners can and should be removed while you eat and brush your teeth.
Is Invisalign painful?
Invisalign aligners are comfortable to wear and remove easily when you eat, brush and floss. Also, since Invisalign is practically invisible, there’s no unwarranted attention to your mouth. In fact, very few people will notice at all, unless you tell them.
